1.What is Black Hole? A Black Hole is a theoretical region of space in which the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing, not even electorm agnetic radiation (e.g. visible light), can escape its pull after having fallen past its event horizon.
2.Black Hole’s history The Newtonian conceptions of Michell and Laplace are often referred to as dark stars to distinguish them from the “black holes” of general relativity. Newtonian theories,”If the semi-diameter of a sphere of the same density as the Sun were to exceed that of the Sun in the proportion of 500 to 1, a body falling from an infinite height towards it would have acquired at its surface greater velocity than that of light, and consequently supposing light to be attracted by the same force in proportion to its vis inertiae, with other bodies, all light emitted from such a body would be made to return towards it by its own proper gravity.”

I’d research about United States and Germany’s space history. It is 1942 to 1958.
1942-First suborbital flight: After two failes, Germany successfully launches their V-2 rocket. It is the first man-made object to achieve sub-orbital spaceflight, reaching an altitude of 100 km. The V-2 is the progenitor of all modern rockets including the U.S. Apollo program’s Saturn V moon rocket.
May 10,1946- First U.S. High Altitude Rocket: The U.S. military achieves its first high-altitude space flight using a made again German V-2 rocket. Launched from the White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico, the flight reaches an altitude of 70 miles.
May 22, 1946- First American-designed rocket reaches space: The United States launches its first American-designed rocket. Known as the Wac Corporal, the rocket reaches the edge of space at an altitude of 50 miles after being launched from the White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico.
